The medicinal water which rushes up from the depth of 1282 m, because of its temperature of 56°C belongs to the group of thermal waters, but because of the salts dissolved into it, it belongs to the group of alkaline calcareous, hydro-carbonic waters. With its content of free carbonic acid above 1000mg, it also meets the criteria internationally established for carbonic acid springs. Thanks to its high content of calcium, magnesium, hydro carbonate, carbon-dioxide and iron, it can be used both for drinking and bath therapy.
According to the examinations of its curative power, a high degree of improvement has been achieved both on catarrhal inflammations and on inflammatory diseases of the digestive tract. The length of the drinking therapy is 2-3 weeks. It has also been effectively used to prevent rumours in the stomach and small intestines, catarrh of stomach and intestines, and also to prevent the return of complaints following the recovery from gall-bladder diseases.
The diseased can move in the water without restriction and they can do exercises which couldn't be achieved by them under other circumstances.
